In 2024, Impact Frontiers is developing guidance on emerging impact management practices for investors aiming to advance social equity. This initiative seeks to fill a critical gap: while more investors are adopting strategies to promote social equity, knowledge about how to measure, manage and report on the impact of these efforts has not kept pace.

Acknowledging the multidisciplinary nature of impact management for social equity, we began with an in-depth literature review and collaborated with the expert partners listed below to integrate best practices from both investing and related fields, such as civic engagement, philanthropy, international development, and social sciences.

The resulting discussion document guidance is organized according to four steps on impact management and focuses on areas of impact management where making progress on social equity may require additional considerations or distinct approaches.

Public Consultation

Impact Frontiers launched this effort in Q1 2024 with the support of the Tipping Point Fund on Impact Investing. We are inviting feedback on the discussion document via public consultation through December 2nd, 2024. We will incorporate feedback and publish a final guidance document by the end of 2024.
