Brian Walsh
Group Head of Sustainability TP ICAP
Brian works at the intersection of tech, finance, and impact — focused on developing strategies for systems-level and market-wide change. He's developed strong partnerships with world class organizations to advance sustainability, whether it's accelerating the market for impact investing (Wharton, SOCAP, ImpactAlpha), improving how philanthropy is practiced (Gates, Ford, Stanford), or creating the first-of-its kind graduate course on financing social impact (Georgetown). He’s been an early stage investor, grantmaker, fundraiser, advisor, and board member/chair for companies and nonprofits.
Brian served as the Global Head of Sustainability for FTSE 250 listed company TP ICAP until January 2023. He worked with the board and executives to develop an overall sustainability framework and strategy, which included the setting of multi-year ESG targets for the company. He oversaw ESG performance management and reporting, identified existing and helped develop new commercial sustainable finance offerings for clients, and managed the company’s philanthropy. Previously, Brian created and led the impact arm for the fintech firm Liquidnet from 2007 until 2021, when it was acquired by TP ICAP.
