Fundamentals of Impact Measurement & Management CoURSEA practice-oriented introduction to core IMM concepts, language, and tools

As organizations and investors work to deliver meaningful social and environmental outcomes, the ability to measure and manage impact is becoming a core professional skill. Across finance, philanthropy, and enterprises, leaders are being asked not only to achieve positive impacts but also to demonstrate how those results are defined, assessed, and used in decision-making.

This program equips professionals with conceptual grounding and practical tools to integrate impact considerations into investment and management decisions, and engage with this rapidly evolving field.

The curriculum blends concepts with application through case studies and peer learning. We emphasize hands-on practice — actually applying what you learn, rather than passively listening to lectures.

Across six sessions, participants build the foundations of IMM through expert presentations, guided exercises, and group discussions.

This global program will be offered in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Each course will be run together with local partners, and the curriculum will be tailored to fit the unique context of each region. In some regions the offering will be fully online, and in others it will be a mix of online and in-person sessions.
